Description of Madel fire dampers
The Madel fire damper functions as a separating element between two fire sectors, thus limiting the spread of fire inside the building.
The casing is made of galvanized steel and clinched together.
The gates meet the characteristics required for the abbreviation "s".
With regard to the tightness of the cold fumes, it is achieved through a joint between the perimeter of the casing and the slat.
In the case of high temperatures, Madel's fire damper is equipped with an expansive intumescent joint.
The damper activation devices are automatically activated by a thermal fuse set at 72 oC, which requires that it close when the mentioned temperature is reached.
